“Finger Lickin’ Good”, not a mere KFC’s slogan in Indonesia

Who doesn’t know the KFC’s tasty slogan “Finger Lickin’ Good”? They utilize the ease and practicality of eating the fried chickens with hands rather than with a spoon and fork.
They needed to spread this slogan because people have always used spoon, fork, knife, or chopsticks to eat, and it is not easy to eat fried chickens with those things, right?

Well, in Indonesia, there’s no need to spread this kind of slogan because everybody is already doing it.
Most of Indonesian people have always eaten with their hands. Eating rice, noodle, fried chicken, salad, and any kind of food you can think of with their hands.
But, of course, they eat soup with spoon. If you are trying to fit in, just be sure to use your right hand to eat, even if you are left-handed.  Check this post to know why if you haven’t read it.

But of course, you should not eat with your hands if you are working in the office. Indonesia’s food is full of spices and seasoning, so it will leave a smell in your hands or your nails.
